In the beginning...
there was a trip to CVS. There I found a box of cards that contained different embellishments so that I could assemble my own Christmas cards. It seemed like a fun way to send personalized cards to my family and friends so I purchased the kit and had a good time putting the cards together.
A few days after Christmas, I so happen to wander into the same CVS and they had a few additional kits in different styles at great After-Christmas prices. I purchased the kits and used them for the following Christmas.
Then I realized I could create my own cards by modifying all the scrapbooking supplies that are readily available at my local craft stores. When I put together my Christmas cards for December 2009, I was kinda shocked by how much I liked them. Then I was shocked by all the postive responses and the call by friends and family to sell my creations.
After months of thinking about it, I decided now is the time. More than Words Card Design is official.
It might take me a little while to post pictures of cards, create an official logo, a stamp with the logo to put on the back of the cards, and the million other things that a new business require but if you have any suggestions, please feel free to send them my way.
And if you need any cards, please let me know.
